Who needs a GPS when you've got Chasey? It doesn't matter what state she's in or who she happens to be living with, Chasey knows where home is – and that's wherever daddy is. She was in the car at a gas station somewhere between Baton Rouge and Tampa when she popped up on the dashboard to be closer to him.
The 13-year-old cat has always been Seth Martin's girl, and she's kept him company through stints in Louisiana, Texas and Florida. When he was living in places that didn't allow cats, she stayed with other family members, but she always went straight to Martin when he came back to get her.
Martin received Chasey as a birthday gift from a friend while he was in college, and it was definitely a surprise.
"He just showed up on my birthday at my door," Martin tells PEOPLEPets.com. "Instead of a book or a case of beer or any normal college present, he had a cat carrier, which I thought was a gutsy move. I've loved her for 13 years ever since."
Chasey, though friendly, is careful about giving her trust to people. The good news is that she's finally coming around to Martin's fiancee – "but it's taken years and years and years!"
