'The Middle' Siblings Can Agree on One Thing – Loving Pets!
On ABC's sitcom The Middle, Atticus Shaffer (Brick), Eden Sher (Sue) and Charlie McDermott (Axl) play siblings who sometimes have to show a united front to get what they want from their parents (like cable TV).
In real life, the actors really do share one thing in common: They all have lots of love for animals.
"I love animals with all my heart," Shaffer tells PEOPLEPets.com. "Even if I have them or don't have them, I will always show affection to them."
Older bro McDermott has a goofier take on his new golden retriever puppy.
"She's smart," McDermott says. "I've actually left some math homework out – and she did it all."
