She voices a cat in the upcoming live action flick Cats and Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore, and she's definitely done her homework when it comes to understanding kitty. Vivacious mom-to-be Christina Applegate not only loves furry felines, but it seems she can communicate with them on a whole other level.
"My cat used to talk to me," she told PEOPLEPets.com at the premiere of Cats and Dogs on Sunday in Hollywood. "Like have full conversations with me, it was a little weird."
Applegate, 38, who voices Catherine, the tough undercover agent cat in the movie, said she doesn't discriminate between cats and dogs and actually proudly owns one of each. "They all have their own unique personalities," she said. "The cat's a cat and the dog's a dog, but I used to have a cat that was very much like a dog."
Though she's the proud parent of two furbabies, the actress doesn't think that being a pet owner will help prepare her for motherhood. "I think it's completely two different worlds," she said. "I can't just let this [baby] out to go to the bathroom."
