Most people probably wouldn't describe pigs as "elegant." But Inglourious Basterds star Eli Roth says his pig Pennington is just that distinguished and refined. "He likes classical music. He sits under my feet when I'm playing piano," Roth told PEOPLEPets.com Saturday at PETA's 30th anniversary gala and Humanitarian Awards in Los Angeles. "I'll be sitting, practicing piano, and he's nibbling at my toes."

Though he's not the first dashing actor to own a pig – "I know, George Clooney had a pig first, I get it," he joked – he's certainly the most, er, candid. "He's very interested in sniffing my toes, and sniffing my crotch right after I come back from the gym. It's a very weird relationship."

Also weird? The fact that Pennington can fly ... sort of. "He's actually starting to leap now," Roth said. "He took off yesterday, and I was like, 'Wow, when pigs fly!' " But aside from his special skills, Pennington is a normal, perky pet. "[Pigs] are very clean. They're very social. They're wonderful pets," Roth said.

They're also extra-fun to nickname. "There's Piggy Smalls, the Notorious P-I-G, J. Edgar Hoover," Roth said. "He has a whole bunch of nicknames. And sometimes he turns Adolf Pigler. That's when [his] next nickname is like Bacon Sandwich!" We'll assume he's just kidding with that last one.
