Josh Lucas's love life might be in the doghouse. After high-profile romances with Salma Hayek and, most recently, Rachel McAdams, the Poseidon star is enjoying his single status – but he wouldn't mind a little help from his furry companion, Loki.
"Loki seems to like women more than men, and he oftentimes wants to take off with a particularly good-looking woman," Lucas told PEOPLEPets.com at the ASPCA Annual Young Friends Benefit last Thursday. "He's helpful, but he's never actually gotten me a date."
So far, Loki has proved charming enough to convert even non-dog lovers. "He's like a Human Whisperer. My last serious girlfriend didn't know or like dogs when we met, and she now is still very involved in Loki's life," Lucas said. "I think that's a great thing. He's a very amazing dog."
Still, it seems that the actor's four-legged pal still has some work to do if he wants to help his human's dating life.
"He's not a good wingman yet," Lucas said. "I'm single, so Loki better get on it! I really want [his] help right now."
