Chelsea Handler Always Has Vodka – and Chunk – In Her Dressing Room
"He's a good, beautiful boy," Handler tells PEOPLE of Chunk, the German shepherd-Chow mix she helped rescue from a kill shelter in 2009.
The 9-year-old pooch was in danger of being put down at one point, but he's now Handler's constant companion, the thing she always needs to have in her dressing room.
Not only did Chunk find a home with Handler, he also found fame. He's on the cover of one of her books, Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang. He's a star on Twitter and Facebook, where he has more than 135,000 combined fans.
Not that it matters to Chunk. "Everyone loves him, but he only cares about me. It's perfect," Handler says. "He's completely devoted to me. He'd rather follow me around than eat."
