Katy Perry may sing about riding in Jeeps, but a different California Girl prefers a more natural mode of transportation.
"Went horse back riding for my mom's b-day," Colbie Caillat Tweeted on Thursday, sharing a photo of her atop her trusty steed in Malibu. "Haven't been since I was 17. Pretty fun!"
The singer, who joined her sister and her mom's best friend for the celebration, steered the horse up a hillside to a spot that overlooked the ocean. But while Caillat was ready to keep going, her ride decided otherwise.
"Here's a cool shot I took on my horse before it decided to lay down in the dirt," she Tweeted. "While I was still on it. Lol"
Oops! Maybe Caillat should rein in the traveling for a little while.
