Bradley Cooper considers his dogs to be members of his family – "They're my kids," he told PEOPLE
After his 15-year-old German shorthaired pointer, Samson, died last year, the actor found a lasting way to pay tribute to his friend, whom he had saved three weeks before a scheduled euthanization.
Cooper had a giant photograph
of the dog installed in his home, and was recently pictured sitting under it with his Chow-retriever mix Charlotte at his feet. With Cooper, it's all about his own intense blue eyes, so fittingly, the picture of Samson is composed around the dog's bright yellow peeper.
Now, to complete the look, he just has to find a lady to share the cozy spot under the photo.
"She has to like my dogs," he told PEOPLE of potential girlfriends. Recent ex Renée Zellweger
was often spotted walking Charlotte, and Cooper insists, "My dogs and I come in a package."See more celebrities and their pets on PEOPLEPets.com:Aww! Selma Blair Gets Maternal with Her Horse Ed Asner Has One 'Einstein' Cat, and One 'Doofus'
