Chihuahua, or tchotchke? Either way, this is one highly-decorative pup!
"He kind of looked like one of the ornaments on the shelf," Harrison tells PEOPLE Pets of the snapshot, taken about a year ago. "He was kind of comfortable being up there."
A rescue dog, Harrison adopted Joey after spending the weekend with a friend who attended Arizona State University, and came across a puppy that was going to be sent to the pound.
"I kind of knew by the end of the weekend that this dog would be coming home with us," he says.
Joining a home that already included two golden retrievers might've been an adjustment for some dogs, but not Joey.
"He think he's as big as the golden retrievers," Harrison says. "He runs around with them. He's actually in love with Emmy. He follows her all around, hangs out with her. He's just a happy little guy. Fits right in."
