Leaving Dancing with the Stars last week was a big disappointment for Elisabetta Canalis, but this week, she's taking a different cause under her wing.
The Italian TV personality and a friend helped rescue an injured pigeon over the weekend. "@ChoMatic just found a pigeon in the middle of the street," she Tweeted. "A cat bited him ... I'm going to see a vet later to know if he is ok and if he can fly away."
By Sunday, Canalis reported that the bird was recovering well with help from a vet at Wildlife Care of Ventura County in California.
"Igor looks better today! He wishes you guys good morning," she wrote, sharing a picture of herself holding the bird.
