She welcomed her first child this summer, but motherhood hasn't made Marion Cotillard soft.

The actress showed off her fearless side during an afternoon at Marineland wildlife park in Antibes, France, on Tuesday, where she learned to approach and feed killer whales, who weigh around 8 tons and are one of the most dangerous marine mammals in the world.

According to NiceMatin.com, the actress is prepping for her latest role in the movie Rust and Bone, in which she plays an orca trainer who loses both legs in an accident during a show.

Cotillard appeared calm and focused as she stood inches away from the massive mammals and put fish into one gaping (and very toothy!) mouth. She's clearly learning how to stay safe around these creatures!
