Now there’s a familiar face!

Before speaking before a crowd at Eastfield College in Texas on Tuesday, President Obama took some time out to read a book about the First Dog to 3-to-5-year-olds at a child development classroom on campus.

Perhaps it was a special nod to his faithful friend, who celebrates his fourth birthday this weekend. Meanwhile on that same day, Bo was spotted enjoying the crisp fall weather in the White House Rose Garden.

According to USA Today, some of the children remarked that an illustration in the book, The First Pup by Bob Staake, didn’t look like the President.

“That’s because when they made this book I didn’t have any gray hair,” he said.
