Before the reality star married Kris Humphries in a lavish August wedding, she moved in with her husband-to-be. But the excitement of cohabitating quickly wore off: They weren't seeing eye-to-eye over Humphries's dogs, Brody and Gizmo.
"I'm definitely very happy that Kris is here, but to live together changes everything," Kardashian confessed in the E! special Kim's Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event. "Kris loves his dogs, which makes me think that he would be really good with kids. He's just a good person, but there is dog poop all outside. I'm such a neat freak that I don't even know how I'm going to live with him, let alone two dogs."
Kardashian acted as cool as she could about the doggie doo, but she drew the line when it came to her bed.
"No! They cannot sleep on my bed!" she exclaimed when Humphries invited his pups to join them between the sheets. "Kris, they're not allowed in my bed! That's silk right there!"
The next morning, when Humphries put Gizmo on the kitchen counter to "pull his eye boogers out," Kardashian expressed her displeasure with her new bedmates. "Things are so good that you're just trying to make up something," Humphries told her, but she insisted.
"Kim wants to put my dogs in crates," he said. "Like, come on. She's used to being on her own and having things her way. This is a part of marriage. We compromise."
