Later that night, the country star took to Twitter to give her fans a closer look at her low-tech cheat sheet – and to share another look at her adorable new kitten Meredith.
"My thank you's," she wrote. "And my cat. Good night!"
The notes on Swift's arm paid off. She also thanked Ellen DeGeneres, who watched the speech and Tweeted her gratitude.
"I love to be mentioned in acceptance speeches," DeGeneres wrote. "Thanks @TaylorSwift13 – you know I adore you."
