Leona Lewis will do anything for furry friends in need – including calling on her celebrity friends for help.
On Saturday the singer invited a slew of her famous pals to a private party benefitting the Hopefield Animal Sanctuary, a safe haven for abused and neglected animals in Brentwood, England.
Donations are still coming in, but so far Lewis and her guests raised more than $30,000 at the soiree (organized by party planner Marley Majcher), which featured performances by Lewis herself, Natasha Bedingfield and Glee star Matthew Morrison.
Lewis was grateful that her animal-loving friends showed their support by stepping out for the fund-raiser. "Thank you so much @matt_morrison for coming and having a little sing song with me in aid of hopefield_uk animal sanctuary! big hugs," she Tweeted on Saturday.
