While many Americans spent the day after Thanksgiving trying to score Black Friday deals, the First Family didn’t even have to leave home to get a special holiday treat.

This year’s White House Christmas tree was carted to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. last week, and on hand to accept the delivery were First Lady Michelle Obama, daughters Malia and Sasha, and Portuguese water dog Bo.

Once the horse-drawn cart bearing the 19-ft.-tall balsam fir from Wisconsin pulled up to the North Portico, Bo led the way for the family to inspect it.

Malia and Sasha both gave a quick thumbs up to the tree, which will be on display in the Blue Room during the holiday season. Mrs. Obama even asked Bo for his opinion, and he seemed to give it with a cheerful wag of his tail.
