Funny man Kevin Hart may be "the new sexy," but the women who approach the stand-up comic are attracted to something other than his jokes.

"I get attention [from the ladies], but for some reason, it goes to my dog," Hart says. "They're like, 'Oh my god – he's so cute!' I'm like, 'Well, I've been working out.' And they're like, 'Not you, the dog. We love the dog. Can we hold it?'"

The dog in question is Hart's 9-month-old miniature pinscher, Riggs, who Hart initially brought home for his 6-year-old daughter. In the months since, Riggs has burrowed his way into somebody else's – well, heart.

"My kids love him, and he's great with them, but I'm falling in love with the dog more than they are," Hart says. "He's hilarious and sparky. He's got a feisty personality but he's laid-back at the same time."

Riggs has a big personality – one that he showcased in a video for's Sexiest Man Alive this year – and it's a perfect match for both his owner and his size.

"I got a dog with a Napoleon complex," Hart says. "I have a Napoleon complex. We're small. Anything big that we feel is threatening us, we want to fight. We're not a pushover."
