President Obama & Bo Hit Petsmart – and Leave with a Chew Toy
The Commander-in-Chief headed out for some last-minute shopping Wednesday with the First Dog in Alexandria, Va., where he picked up some goodies for his pal, confirming that Bo has been nice this year.
A smiling store employee directed Obama to the toy section, and Bo, sporting a blue leash, led the way down the aisle.
While at the store, Bo encountered a small brown standard poodle named Cinnamon, prompting the President to say, "Okay, Bo, don't get too personal here."
"Bo the WH pooch came along and got himself a new chew toy ($24.99)," CBS News White House correspondent Mark Knoller Tweeted Wednesday. "He got to play with some other dogs at PetSmart."
Obama bought two items totaling $41 for Bo, including a large dog bone. After wrapping up at PetSmart, President Obama went next door to Best Buy, where he bought the "Just Dance" game for Wii for Sasha and Malia.
"The girls beat me every time on these dance games," Obama confessed. "You'll never get a picture of me [playing] because I get graded 'F' every time."
