There's no place like home!
After doing Christmas with the in-laws, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, and Prince William went back to the Middleton family home in Berkshire, England, to ring in the New Year with her parents and sister Pippa.
Looking casual in jeans and a tan overcoat, the Duchess spent time in the yard with two family dogs on the last day of 2011. With Will and dad Michael Middleton walking nearby, Kate ran through the grass with the pups. The entire group seemed to enjoy the time outdoors.
Later, Kate presumably swapped her laid-back ensemble for one appropriate for the "canvas palace" set up by her sister.
