Jon Hamm may play serious on Mad Men, but he's hamming it up for the kids.
The actor, along with girlfriend Jennifer Westfeldt and their German shepherd mix, Cora, are literally getting animated thanks to their guest-starring roles on the PBS KIDS show Martha Speaks. Hamm plays an actor named Ham Johnson, who joins Kit Luntanne (Westfeldt), a fellow player in a traveling acting troupe, on the road, where they meet Martha, the series's talking dog and namesake.
Of course, Cora couldn't be left out of the episode and is central to the two-part story arc. "Cora is incredibly special to us," Hamm said in a release, "and a total original."
Watch Hamm's character explains the origins of his hammy name, and catch the whole episode of Martha Speaks on PBS KIDS, airing Monday, Feb. 20 (check local listings).
