The actor spent Wednesday teasingly Tweeting photographs of what appeared to be a marriage proposal to girlfriend Hayley Roberts, then headed to the Taronga Zoo, where he skirted questions from reporters and enjoyed the company of Aussie animals, including a grey kangaroo named Cobar.
"We're not making any comments about our personal life right now," he told Sydney's Daily Telegraph. "What we are doing is spending a day at the zoo."
The engagement photographs turned out to be illusions, but the animals were real.
