"Yes," she told GQ in its March issue. "We got a dog."
The actress joined her Wanderlust costar and longtime friend Paul Rudd for a joint interview, which began with a proud display of pictures of the rescued pit bull-boxer mix named Sophie.
Aniston further elaborated on her dog situation. "We have one white shepherd [Dolly], but I had another dog [Norman] who died last year," she said. "We actually have three dead dogs on our mantel right now. The whole mantel is dead dogs. Their ashes. It's kind of morbid."
Rudd disagreed. "Morbid would be the way that I first imagined it, with three dogs stuffed on your mantel."
"Don't think I didn't think about it!" Aniston replied. "Or hold his little paw and think, Would it be weird if I turned this into a key chain?"
She didn't do that, of course, and opted instead to keep Norman's ashes in memoriam. "What's interesting is, the dogs," she said, "tiny little tin can. Not much in there. Big body, big ashes. Little dog, not so much."
