The filmmaker and son of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne announced Monday on Twitter that his English bulldog, Lola, had died.
"Lola you were the best friend anyone could ever have," he wrote, noting years that suggest Lola was about 12 years old. "I will love you and miss you always."
Lola maintained a presence on Twitter, with more than 8,000 followers, and after word spread of the dog's death, a new message went up Tuesday.
"Thank you ALL for your kind words," reads the post. "I'm in a better place now. Heaven needs a new princess."
