In fact, it's Texas Rangers prospect Tanner Scheppers's French bulldog, getting on the field at a spring training workout in Surprise, Ariz., on Saturday.
The pooch grabbed a baseball in his mouth and strutted confidently across the grass during the unofficial workout. Spring training exhibition games for the Rangers begin in March.
