Aww! Dylan the Donkey Skips Into Spring
Dylan the donkey, one of the many new animals born during Blair Drummond Safari Park's recent winter baby boom, is preparing to go on display for the first time since the Scottish zoo's seasonal closing.
The 3-week-old donkey joined Marvin the meerkat, Angus the rhino, Levi the joey and Oscar the marmoset, other young creatures who have arrived at the zoo over the past few months. "Their mummies look after them all so well so they're no trouble for us," park manager Gary Gilmour tells the U.K.'s Press Association. He attributes the unusually high number of births to the warm weather. "The animals were more lively this year and there will be a few more babies born in the next few weeks."
