They have a No. 1 album, are adored by millions of teen girls, and landed their own TV show, but something is missing for breakout boy band One Direction: a dog!
Bandmate Liam Payne told fans in a web chat with Saturday Night Online that the one thing the band wishes they could bring on tour is a dog.
The British heartthrobs weren't unanimous about the type of pet they'd tour with: Harry Styles said he'd bring a cat if they were allowed to, and Louis Tomlinson opted for a chimpanzee.
Their tour buses may be fur-free for now, but One Direction makes time for four-legged friends whenever they can. Last week, the guys cuddled up to some adorable homeless pitbull pups as they sang for a Philadelphia radio station – and Liam used the opportunity to ask fans for some help with his troublemaking pets.
"I've got two pet turtles," he said, "but they got separated because one's been chewing the other one's foot. Does anybody know how to stop that?"
