Eric Stonestreet's dog Coleman Hawkins isn't much of a hugger – but like it or not, the pooch is getting a big bear hug on Tuesday.
The Modern Family star and his 12-year-old rescue dog are kicking off Beneful's Baked Delights Hug Your Dog Day.
Watch Stonestreet hold Coleman – and play him like a banjo! – in this tongue-in-cheek clip, shot in the style of Modern Family. It starts with the actor claiming he's not obsessed with his dog – all while paintings of the pooch are prominently displayed around the home.
"He does what I ask him to do and I think that's a really great aspect of his personality," Stonestreet says, while commanding the dog to roll over. Watch the video to see whether or not Coleman complies.
