Baby Gibbon Gets Hand-Reared After Rejection

His mother may have shunned him, but Knuppy is going to be just fine.

The 3-month-old white-handed gibbon, an endangered species, is now being bottle-fed by staff at the Garden Center Vida, a private zoo in Bremen, Germany.

Milk is consistently on Knuppy's menu, but as he ages he'll discover fruits, leaves, flowers and insects, which will round out his diet as an adult.
