Twilight actor Alex Meraz is building more muscle with the newest addition to his family.
"I recently adopted a beautiful lil puppy! I'm gonna be like a Hollywood chick and stuff her in my man-purse," he wrote on Twitter Tuesday, sharing a pic of himself holding his new dog, which looks like a shepherd mix.
Just a few months ago, Meraz, who keeps in werewolf-worthy shape with mixed martial arts, brushed up on his pooch-rearing skills with an episode of The Dog Whisperer.
"I know a few humans who act like the dogs on your show," he Tweeted to Cesar Millan. "Gonna try those techniques on them and see if they behave. Thanks!"
