Lucky, a dog famous for meeting famous people, died Tuesday after a months-long battle with spleen cancer.

The 15-year-old rescue Maltese died in her dog bed in New York City, according to the Associated Press.

After being photographed with 363 celebrities, Lucky earned the Guinness World Record for being "the animal photographed with the most famous people."

"She made me realize how lucky I am no matter what transpired in my life," Lucky's owner, Wendy Diamond, said in a statement. "I'm beyond grateful for the outpouring of generosity and support from friends and strangers who know exactly how much Lucky meant to me and how she inspired me every day."
