Moving to L.A. for her new talk show has meant lots of changes (and stresses!) for Bethenny Frankel and her family – including beloved pooch Cookie.
Soon after the dog made it from New York to the West Coast, where Bethenny is based, Cookie got a nasty case of fleas.
"My poor [Cookie] has to go in for an oatmeal bath. She has gnawed & scratched her body to death. She isn't liking LA," Frankel Tweeted on Friday.
A day later, the flea frenzy got more serious. "She's been to 2 vets, done baths, meds etc & still has fleas & is gnawing her skin away," she Tweeted.
The pesky insects seemed to be wearing on Frankel, too. "Between fleas and launching a talk show, I could use some retail therapy. Who wants to come with me?" she wrote.
Time – and a lathering flea bath from Frankel's husband Jason Hoppy – may have been just what Cookie needed to feel more comfortable with her new surroundings. On Tuesday, Frankel shared a photo of Cookie on WhoSay, showing the dog soaking up the L.A. sun while riding in a car.
"@cookiedabooboo's still adjusting to the glamorous life in L.A.," she Tweeted.
