Jason Bateman has Melissa McCarthy to thank for his new (flippered) friend!
Bateman's costar in the upcoming comedy Identity Theft, currently in production in Atlanta, Ga., suggested that the actor take a trip to the Georgia Aquarium after she had a fun-filled visit there with her family in May.
On June 8, Bateman and his family spent two hours at the world's largest aquarium, where he and his 5-year-old daughter, Francesca, enjoyed a face-to-flipper meeting with Lily the bottlenose dolphin.
The Batemans fed Lily some fish, and on a special behind-the-scenes tour of a coral reef exhibit, they got up close and personal with whale sharks, manta rays, and belugas, too.
