It's taken a few months, but after dealing with the death of his French bulldog Franklin in March, Jeremy Renner has opened up his heart to some new pooches.
"I decided to get a couple more of the same sort of dog, French bulldog," he told Jay Leno on Friday's episode of The Tonight Show. Renner also revealed that Franklin died of a heart attack.
The late-night host couldn't help but give the Bourne Legacy star a hard time about adopting such a small dog breed, comparing him to Paris Hilton. But the actor was quick to defend his choice.
"They're compact; they're not small," he said. "I couldn't emasculate myself anymore."
And the proof of that is in the pair's names: Bentley and Hemi.
"I have no idea, it just kind of felt right," Renner said of his choices, admitting, "I am a car guy."
