Georgetown Cupcake is swimming with sharks, all in honor of – what else? – Shark Week.
Between Aug. 12-19, the stars of TLC's DC Cupcake will be selling the Shark Week Dozen, a special collection of cupcakes commemorating the 25th annual installment of the Discovery Channel series.
The assortment, which costs $55 with nationwide shipping, includes two different kinds of delectable treats: six Madagascar Bourbon vanilla cupcakes and six Valrhona chocolate cupcakes.
Both are topped with sea-blue buttercream vanilla frosting, a dusting of blue sand sugar, an assortment of fondant sharks, unlucky swimmers and Shark Week logos. (Hungry yet?)
While the calorie count for this dozen is as scary as a great white, with 15 percent of all sales going to conservation organization Oceana, they're almost guilt-free! Almost.
