Jason Aldean opened the doors of his sprawling Tennessee home – from his den's wall-of-fame to his on-site party barn – in the October issue of PEOPLE Country.
But we think we have an idea who the real boss of the house is: bulldog Athens (named as a nod to the University of Georgia's football team, based in Athens, Ga.), who joined the Aldean family about three years ago.
The country star, 35, poses with his tongue-wagging pup in the magazine outside the four-bedroom home he shares with his family – wife Jessica and their daughters Keeley, 9, and Kendyl, 5.
And when he's not hanging with Athens – who's probably too busy watching football at the moment – Aldean keeps busy with his human family.
"When I'm home, it doesn't matter whether we're going to Home Depot or the post office," says Aldean, who just earned a CMA nomination for entertainer of the year. "We're almost always together."
