It's been a week of playing Princess Charming for Carrie Underwood!
After granting a young fan his first kiss over the weekend, the songstress came to a chipmunk's rescue in her backyard on Tuesday.
"Meet Dale. My dog, Ace, tried to eat him today!" she Tweeted, sharing a photo of the cute critter. Luckily, Ace didn't do much damage.
"Good news: the vet does take care of chipmunks and Dale is doing fine!" Underwood continued.
But unlike fellow country queen Miranda Lambert, who has a habit of holding onto her strays, the American Idol alum assured fans Dale would be returned to his natural habitat.
"No, I'm not keeping him!" she wrote. "He will be released into a different yard with no Ace to chase him!"
