Jimmy Fallon's New Puppy Makes Late Night Debut
The dog, who joined Fallon's family last month, made her first Late Night appearance Monday and got an exclusive session with the world's most famous dog trainer.
"Gary, look, you're on TV," Fallon said as he placed his fluffy golden retriever on his desk before Dog Whisperer Cesar Millan. "She's really, really cute, I do love her so much, but I'm raising her in New York City, and I was just wondering, do you have any advice if you're raising a dog in the city?"
Millan's advice was to be consistently calm around the puppy in such a fast-paced environment. Taking Gary into his lap, Millan practiced being silent to chill the pup out.
"You tranquilized her," Fallon joked as Gary sat patiently. "She looks like taxidermy, she's not moving at all."
Though it wasn't the dog's first TV appearance (she popped up on Live! With Kelly in September), her model behavior throughout the segment was worthy of a tasty reward.
"@cesarmillan gave my dog a treat," Fallon Tweeted on Tuesday with a photo of Gary sniffing a huge bone. "It's bigger than her!!!"
