The Berlin Zoo honored the late polar bear Knut on Wednesday by unveiling a bronze statue of his likeness, titled "Knut the dreamer." Knut died unexpectedly last year at the age of 4.–AP

The mystery has been solved: The monkey that has eluded wildlife officials in Tampa, Fla., for four years was shot with a tranquilizer dart and captured Wednesday. Called the "Mystery Monkey," the animal was placed in quarantine that evening. "I feel kind of guilty," said one resident, who grew fond of the animal even though it bit her three weeks ago. –Tampa Bay Times
