Eric Stonestreet: Dog Coleman Is the Best Decision I've Ever Made
Thanksgiving may be weeks away, but Eric Stonestreet is feeling the gratitude.
The Modern Family star is glad that when he visited an animal shelter in 2000, he didn't leave empty-handed.
"Through it all. Ups downs. Disappointments and excitement. Success and failure. This guy remains to be the best decision I've ever made," Stonestreet Tweeted Monday, with a pretty WhoSay portrait of his beloved Jack Russell terrier/beagle mix Coleman.
The actor told PEOPLE in July that Coleman didn't exactly jump into his arms when he first met him that day at the shelter.
"He scratched me, then bit my hand," he said. "I knew I had to take him home, and he has been my best friend and right-hand man ever since."
