In a nod to the werewolves featured in the films, the L.A. bash showcased three caged wolves. Great white sharks most likely descended from broad-toothed mako sharks, according to new research. The species was dubbed Carcharodon hubbelli to honor Gordon Hubbell, who donated the fossil to the University of Florida's Museum of Natural History. –Discovery News
