Qantas airlines's check-in area was hopping on Tuesday at Melbourne Airport – with a real kangaroo!
In this video from Australia's Seven Network, the creature can be seen causing a commotion as he skids, slides and tumbles across the airlines's domestic check-in area – leading some to believe it was a stunt.
The injured animal, who has been named Cyrus by Wildlife Victoria volunteers, made his way to a nearby pharmacy, where he was eventually sedated and taken out of the building.
"Check out Cyrus recovering well at the wildlife shelter! What a gorgeous roo," reads the caption for a video posted on Wildlife Victoria's Facebook page
, which shows Cyrus resting comfortably in a cozy pen.
Melbourne's kangaroo population must be angling for an air adventure. In January, another kangaroo
made its way up to the fifth level of a parking garage at the same airport.
