Home. Some pets never have one to call their own. We'd like to help change that by introducing you to an extraordinary adoptable pet every week. Today, we bring you Angis, a sweet pup who steals scenes on next week's episode of The Bachelor.

This season's suitor, Juan Pablo Galavis, is looking for true love – and so is Angis. The 3-year-old pops up on Monday night's episode, which takes the eligible Venezuelan on a group date where he poses in photos with adoptable dogs from Best Friends Animal Society's Los Angeles pet adoption center.

If you happen to see Angis on The Bachelor, then you're probably his ideal owner. The French Brittany spaniel is mellow and the perfect companion for someone who loves camping out on the couch to watch TV.

"He is very happy to hang out with you while you watch a movie or play on your computer," reads a message from his foster mom on the National Brittany Rescue and Adoption Network website.

Already a pro at commands like "sit," "come," and "down," Angis is a quick learner and wants nothing more than to please people.

"He will follow you everywhere unless he has a canine companion to keep him occupied," she says. Therefore, those who know him best believe he'd thrive in a home with a furry friend. His foster mom writes, "He did extraordinarily well when paired with Emily, his foster sister, but she was adopted and now he's looking for another canine to call his BFF."

If you think Angis is the bosom buddy you've been searching for, complete an online adoption application at www.nbran.org (under Adoption Center) or shoot an email to nationalbrittanyrescue@gmail.com.

Adopting a pet is an amazing experience – and a big decision! Before bringing a pet into your home it's important to consider your family circumstances and do your research on breeds.
