Things are about to get ruff for Juan Pablo Galavis.

After a cute photo shoot with adoptable dogs on Monday's episode of The Bachelor, one of the girls has a serious meltdown, which sends her to the dog house.

Thirteen contestants meet up with Galavis and learn they are each being assigned a homeless dog who will pose with them – along with the single dad – for a photo shoot benefitting Models n Mutts, a nonprofit helping animals find forever homes.

Alli and Lauren S. (above) let loose in a tug of war-themed bikini shot featuring dogs Hopie and Angis (the only dog from the shoot who is still looking for a permanent home, and you can read about him here).

In another photo, Galavis and former NBA dancer Cassandra (below) get cozy next to a bowl of spaghetti in a nod to the memorable scene from Lady and the Tramp.

But later at the evening's after party, the claws come out: One of the girls has a meltdown because she feels she hasn't gotten enough one-on-one time with Galavis, and the eligible hunk is faced with a doggone tough decision.

The Bachelor airs (8 p.m. ET) on ABC.
