As the White House readies itself for Tuesday night’s State Dinner in honor of French president Francois Hollande, First Dogs Bo and Sunny are getting ready, too – by brushing up on their French.
The 350 guests expected in attendance tonight at the glam get-together, to be held on the White House’s South Lawn, will be dining on food that “celebrates the best of American cuisine,” including garden vegetables from the First Lady’s kitchen garden, dry-aged rib eye beef and Hawaiian chocolate-malted ganache for dessert.
Hopefully White House Executive Chef Cris Comerford will prepare something special for the Obama family’s canine members, as well – preferably in doggy bags!
