"My golden retriever and I are going to stay home and kick back for the whole day," White, who just turned 92, told PEOPLE on Monday. "I'll do every crossword puzzle I can get my hands on and I won't do any work."
Hanging out with her canine companion Pontiac, a guide dog who was named by the people who gave him to her, is what she calls "the best thing that can happen," adding, "He's such a sweet boy. We have a really good time, and when I really take a day off, the two of us kick back and have fun."
But days of pure relaxation aren't commonplace for the iconic actress, who's working on ongoing shows and just completed a gig as guest host for WWE's Monday Night Raw.
"[It was] a real good time," she says of emceeing at L.A.'s Staples Center, where she received a slew of attention from the male and female wrestlers on hand. "I don't play in that crowd very often and it was fun."
Hot in Cleveland returns on March 26 with a live show, to White's excitement.
"I work with the best gals in the world," she says. "And then Off Their Rockers is coming back. It's a silly show but we have a lot of fun. I'm blessed with good health and I love what I do, so it's a good combination."
