Stars just can't get enough of the adorable stray dogs in Sochi.
Former Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky
is the latest American to head home with a puppy in tow. Fedotowsky, who's been covering the Olympic Games
for E! News, posted an Instagram photo
on Friday of herself cradling her new furry friend.
"Got this little gal at a Sochi shelter. On my way to the vet to get her health certificate and passport so I can hopefully bring her back to the USA to be adopted," she wrote. "I can't save them all, but I know someone in the states would love to have this little sweetheart!!!"
In the snapshot, Fedotowsky, 29, wears a green hat bearing the symbol for PovoDog, a makeshift shelter set up by a Russian billionaire after authorities ordered the removal
of hundreds of stray dogs ahead of the Olympics opening ceremony.
Skier Gus Kenworthy
launched Team USA's unofficial rescue effort, announcing he'll fly a dog and her four pups back stateside with him. And snowboarder Lindsey Jacobellis
fittingly fell in love with her own stray around Valentine's Day, having a teammate Tweet a snapshot
of the cute canine who "scored a one way ticket to the USA."
