Pit Bulls in Photo Booth: Photo

You can't predict what a dog is going to do. So for photographer Lynn Terry, these shots were an amazing surprise – of viral proportions.

The adorable photos she snapped of two pit bulls in a photo booth have spread like wild fire on social media and are making people everywhere smile, and some tear up when they learn the pups's back stories.

Bumper, the pitty who's going in for a kiss, "came from a not so great area of St. Louis," owner Kelly Garrison tells The Huffington Post, adding a "gentleman tried to fight her. She wouldn't engage." After a little boy "lured her away," continues Garrison, Bumpter was taken in by a local pit rescue called Mutts n Stuff, from where she and her husband Jason adopted her.

A little over a year later, the couple was looking to add to their brood and was matched up with Willis, a 6-month-old pit bull who was seized as a part of a dog-fighting raid in the summer of 2009 (his mother was pregnant with him at the time).

"I love them, I love them, they're my whole world," Garrison says of the pups, while Terry added, "I have a personal affinity for the breed. They are the underdog and I want to do what I can to change public opinion about the breed."
