As far as we’re concerned, Cesar Millan has the coolest job ever (although Jennifer Lawrence is a close second).

Case in point: The tried-and-true Dog Whisperer gets to hang out with dogs on the regular. Take a minute to imagine what your office would be like if all of your coworkers were dogs. Wait, did we mention he spends his days in the company of dogs, arguably the animal kingdom’s attempt at perfection?

Sure, Millan’s job requires dealing with some four-legged troublemakers, but he makes it look oh-so-fun as he works with both the owner and the non-human in-question to remedy the situation. While stopping by the PEOPLE studio to chat about his new Nat Geo Wild show, Cesar 911, we saw those skills put to the test as he helped a reader, Todd Fishkind, of Plainview, N.Y., teach his dog Maggie to walk without a leash. (Watch above.)

Cesar 911 airs Fridays at 9 p.m. on Nat Geo Wild.
