Boo! It’s the Wicked Witch of Times Square! Yorkshire terrier Petey dressed up as the Wicked Witch of the West for the Fifth Annual Times Square Dog Day Masquerade. Too bad he’s just too cute to be scary!
These costumes are fitting! Pug George Clooney has real fangs, so mom Tina Calhoun dressed him up as a vampire, while her parents’ dog, Stella, is under a pointy hat since – yikes! – she “is a little witch sometimes.”
Sensitive dog Duchess posed for this photo while mom Monica Hall laughed! She tells PEOPLE.com, “I laughed so hard that when I was done, she stuck her head under the sofa and wouldn’t look at me again.”
Michelle Wolfskill (bellalamb613) named her pug Elphaba after a witch in the musical Wicked, so it was only appropriate to dress Elphie up as a witch for her first Halloween! Wolfskill tells us that Elphie “liked the clothes, but she wasn’t so sure about that hat.”
Michelle Dieffenbacher tells PEOPLE.com that her tuxedo cat Luna is little, but “don’t let her pint-size stature fool you! She can take on her 14-lb. tabby cat brother any day – and has been known to throw some hexes his way!”
Which is the Witch? They both are! And apparently they’re related! Linda Polston (lindasmith68) says that “Tipper the witch and his old grandmother witch are helping each other to brew up a recipe that will knock your silly socks off. Beware, or we will get you!”
We’ve got one from the west and one from the south, and here is the Good Witch from the North! Meet Little Bit, the pal of Robin Wood (littlebitwood). Check out her profile for a look at Little Bit as a pumpkin too!
Lidia Carter (tigerlady14) tells us that her dog Shawnee is dressed as the black widow witch. Shawnee says, “Don’t do me wrong because I will cast a mean spell on you of hugs and kisses.” Now that’s a punishment we’ll take!
