Hairball Contributors: Cameron, a 6-year-old male tuxedo; Cotton, a 12-year-old tortoiseshell; Percy, a 6-year-old black-and-gray tabby; Cyndi, a 7-year-old calico; and Rusty, a 7-year-old ginger tabby.
The Inspiration: Necessity. "I worked for two days on a cat or dog," Jan says. "I accidentally flattened it twice and Percy – well, I'm not so sure he did it accidentally. It was deadline, the once furry creature was now a hard mass with its head and arms falling off, so I brushed out all the hair to soften and separate it and made a quick, flat, fluffy creature. If you ever figure out what it is, please let me know."
